T-SQL Tuesday #41, hosted this month by Bob Pusateri (Blog|@SQLBob). You are invited to visit his blog to join the blog party. You are also welcome to write your own participating blog post for the party or just to read more blogs participating in this month’s theme: Presenting and Loving it!
For me, my level of loving presenting reached its highest point when someone who was then a acquaintance and is now a friend asked for advice on presenting. Harry Chandra (@SQLDude503) was submitting to speak at SQL Saturday for the first time. I gave him some guidance on submitting, and once he got selected to present, I gave him advice on doing the actual presentation. He asked me if I would mind sitting in on his session as moral support, and I was honored to do so.
Harry did a great presentation on one of my favorite topics, database mirroring. His presentation was a success, and I hope he continues presenting at events.
Extra Credit
And to get the extra credit by mentioning bacon, here is an image of an actual slide deck page from my first ever SQL PASS Summit presentation where I made homemade chocolate covered bacon for my attendees.
